40 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP

Last weekend I flew to Atlanta, GA to gather with my college suitemates to celebrate our 40th anniversary of meeting each other at the Branscomb Quad at Vanderbilt University in 1968. WOW! How is that possible when we are only slightly over 40 now.....?

It was 4 days of laughing, relaxing, shopping, laughing, eating, drinking, and more laughing. Only 2 men were allowed into our inner sanctum....Kevin and Ben.

HOUSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT GRADUATION

Jack is an aspiring fireman like his Uncle Mitch. Everyday he wakes up and puts on this hat and wears it most of the day.

2008 Backyard Olympics

Today we hosted the second Backyard Olympics for Conner and his compadres. We tried this in 2004 and it was so much fun we did it again this year and had a blast! The torch Run, the parade of families, the events and the medal ceremony took place under sunny skies.

There's no place like SPACE !

Yesterday Conner and I went to see the Star Wars exhibit at Space Center Houston with Becky and her kids and Kara and her kids. The Star Wars part was OK.... but they had fun at all the space activities and Daredevil Island.
