S-S-C-C-A-R-R-Y WEEKEND

We had a nice visit from Mitch and Conner over the weekend. Conner got his costume for Halloween (Phantom with red glowing eyes and a bloody machete to accessorize).

This next photo is NOT part of the costume! He collided with the corner of the house and it added to his ghoulish disguise.

Sunday was Marian Smith's birthday party at the Houston Zoo so the kids all dressed up and went to see the other wild creatures.

FOODS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

Flower market in Nice

When we left on our cruise Patrick said
"take lots of pictures of the food".
I thought that was a funny request
but now those are some of my favorite
pictures of the trip.

THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA BY SHIP

ROME AND VATICAN CITY

We are now home from our cruise and I will post a few of the 600 pictures I took. It was a feast for the senses and we had a great time. My personal favorites were Nice and Florence, but it was all beautiful. Our tour guides gave us the highlights of each city and we definitely want to go back for more time in all the places we visited and more time in the other cities and towns of Italy and France.

FLORENCE

NICE & MONTE CARLO

NAPOLI

Hello Family and Friends,
We are now in the birthplace of Angelina Julia DiLorenzo Egan. We toured the old city today then went to a Neapolitan pizzaria for lunch. Pat got chosen to assist the pizzariono with our lunch. The wine and the music were free flowing. Tommorrow we are in ROMA !

BEAUTIFUL BARCEÑONA

We are enjoying our stay in Barcelona and we have had perfect weather. I think we got lost 3 or 4 times today but who cares? We´re in Barcelona! We board our ship tomorrow and head out to Malta in search of the Carravaggio painting.
