Last week we got to meet Geoff Blum from the Astros at Mitchell's fire house. He is #27 for the Astros and has adopted HFD station 27. He signed baseballs and shirts and let Conner and his friend, Mark try on his jersey. They have a bit of growing to do to fill out that jersey. He was a great guy and has 4 daughters at home, one 5 year old and 4 year old triplets! Evidentally HFD Station 27 is good luck for him because he got the game winning hit in the 9th to beat the Washington Nationals that same night. GO Astros!
